Injectable Treatments

Neuromodulator Injections

Neuromodulators (aka Botox Cosmetic + Dysport) are quick and effective treatments, with virtually no pain or down-time. These injectable procedures are FDA-approved to assist in the prevention, and reversal of expression lines that form between the brows (also known as “11 lines”), around the eyes (“crow’s feet”), and forehead lines.

Dermal Filler Injections

Dermal fillers are non-surgical, injectable medications that have minimal downtime and can help to highlight and contour the desirable angles of the face and minimize the appearance of folds and shadows. Fillers can be used to help lift sagging skin, and fill and soften the appearance of the lines above, around, and within the mouth and lips. Under the eyes and along the jawline are also common areas to use dermal fillers.

Ditch the double-chin, and sculpt your jawline by removing the unwanted, stubborn fat located below the chin. Kybella is a non-invasive, permanent, fat destroying injectable. Most patients need between 1-3 treatments of kybella (every 8-12 weeks) to achieve desired outcome. **please note that in the clinical studies, some patients needed up to 6 treatments of kybella.**

Sculptra is a non-invasive bio-stimulator injectable treatment made up of poly-L-lactic acid to stimulate your  body’s own natural collagen in various parts of the face and body. This treatment is perfect for patients who may experience hyper-metabolism with Hyaluronic Acid based fillers. At Skin Charm, some of our favorite places to inject Sculptra are temples, hip dips or booty! Pro tip: when combined with a HA based dermal filler treatment, Scupltra can dramatically turn back the hands of time! You can expect the appointment to take about 30-45 minutes. Full correction can be seen 12 weeks after injections and can last up to two years!

PDO Thread Lift

Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are fully absorbable sutures that are placed under the skin to stimulate the formation of collagen.   This non-surgical treatment lifts and supports the face or body to create a natural looking rejuvenation.  The threads dissolve over 4-6 months and do not create any visible scarring or damage to the skin.  The results of the thread lift can last about 12-15 months with minimal downtime.  This procedure can be done on the face, neck, chest, and/or body.

Pair this with Botox or Dysport for a full refresh!

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive treatment that causes hundreds of thousands of controlled micro-injuries to the skin, initiating the body’s wound healing process for total skin rejuvenation.

All microneedling treatments start with a thorough cleansing followed by application of a medical-grade topical numbing cream. Once you’ve had adequate time to numb (about 15 minutes), the cream is removed. An FDA-approved microneedling device called the SkinPen is then passed back and forth across each section of the face at varying depths (0.25-2.5 mm) with a skilled and loving hand. Our nurses are expertly trained to be meticulous and cautious, only penetrating the skin as deeply as is absolutely necessary for the best results.

Pro tip: Try microneedling + PRP for the ultimate glow-up!

Microneedling with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a highly concentrated autologous serum rich in growth factors and cytokines, both of which stimulate the production of collagen & elastin. When we needle PRP into the skin, it enhances these beneficial effects by acting synergistically with the collagen already stimulated by microneedling. PRP is obtained via a quick, relatively painless blood draw using a tiny butterfly needle. The blood is then centrifuged for 10 minutes to separate its components and the PRP is used as a glider during your treatment.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin)

Using your own cells to regenerate your skin, PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is the 100% natural option that works better than synthetic alternatives. From a simple and effective blood draw, PRF is isolated from your blood through a centrifuge process. Then, these cells are injected in specific areas to unlock your body’s natural healing properties for skin improvement in areas like under eyes, fine lines and wrinkles, and even hair loss.

The difference between PRF and PRP? PRF doesn’t use additives + chemicals in its collection process. Instead, it utilizes innovative blood-draw tubes + centrifuge for a finer plasma collection maximizing your body’s natural response. The result? A richer concentration of platelets and longer-lasting growth factors for optimal simulation and superior results.
